It is possible to define as a security rule that "Mr Martin can only connect to the server between 9am to 6pm". Some firewalls already integrated this notion but were unable to kill a connexion. If Mr Martin connected a 5 to 6pm, he could stay connected as long as he wanted.
EdenWall correct this problem by being the first firewall based ond the Linux core able to kill an existant connexion or to define its life-time at its beginning.
So, the hourly rules are finally really efficient, it is not any more a question of limiting the schedule of connection but well and truly the schedule of use.
EdenWall is once again innovative on an essential security point.
