EdenWall selected in the Rapid Projet
EdenWall Technologies, a software publisher and manufacturer of the new generation EdenWall firewall, gets subsidies from the DGA (Direction Générale de l'Armement) and the DGCIS (Direction Générale de la Compétitivité de l'Insdustrie et des Services) in the RAPID project.
This support aims to help the company and Dalibo, it PostgreSQL database specialist partner, to develop a solution able to support up to one million users.
The RAPID projects aims to subside high technology projects launched by small-sized companies with civilian and military applications.
“We know EdenWall Technologies and the NuFW technology since several years ago. The software publisher and manufacturer is appreciated by our services for its eagerness to innovate and for its relevant technological offer. These subsidies should help them to bring very interesting security functionalities” says David Lenoble, head of the department which helps small-sized companies at the DGA.
Thanks to the NuFW technology embedded in its appliances, EdenWall Technologies meets efficiently the selection criteria defined by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Industry. The solution is innovative and in line with defense technological choices. It offers numerous possible civilian applications.
“As French manufacturers, we are very proud to be trusted and supported by the DGCIS and the DGA. Thanks to this support, we can anticipate developments that will soon result in a new technology offer for very large networks” says Jérôme Notin, Strategy and Partnerships Director at EdenWall Technologies.
Thanks to these subsidies, the manufacturer confirms its commitment to develop high technology security solutions which meet the most severe demands in terms of monitoring and filtering connections and add the concept of user identity.

EdenWall Advances to Evaluation Phase of Common Criteria EAL3+ Certification
EdenWall Technologies, a highly innovative provider of new generation firewalls, announces that its flagship product, EdenWall, has advanced to “In Evaluation” for Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level 3+ (EAL3+) certification.
The Common Criteria for IT Security Evaluation is the technical standards basis for the international Common Criteria Recognition Arrangement (CCRA). The CCRA was signed by twenty six countries, including the United States and most European and Asia-Pacific countries. Designed to help government organizations select secure commercial IT products, it is also considered highly valuable in the private sector.
Common Criteria's Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 3+ establishes trust in information systems and networks through the use of security testing, evaluation, and validation programs. EdenWall Technologies is being evaluated through an accredited test lab that performs evaluations and testing on IT security solutions and systems.
“EAL 3+ assures customers, in and out of government, that EdenWall Technologies’s solutions have gone through a rigorous testing and analysis process and conform to IT security standards. It provides independent, standards-based verification of the security functions delivered by the EdenWall range of new generation firewalls,” said Vincent Deffontaines, co-founder and CEO of EdenWall Technologies. “Companies need a vendor they can trust. Certification gives our solutions added credibility for our customers, in both public and private sectors.”
Common Criteria certification is managed in France by the French Network and Information Security Agency (FNISA).The FNISA was created on July 7th, 2009, in a similar way to France’s main partner nations, to face the challenges posed by information system security. The FNISA maintains a list of security-enhanced products that are in the process of being evaluated by a Common Criteria Testing Laboratory: http://www.ssi.gouv.fr/site_rubrique52_p_30_Edenwall_4.html.
