Vincent Deffontaines
An IT Security Engineer since 1999, Vincent Deffontaines is a major contributor to several high-end open-source software projects such as the Apache web server. A renowned security expert, he regularly contributes articles to magazines focusing on information security. In 2003, he created the breakthrough NuFW Linux packet-filtering plugin with Éric Leblond. In 2004, Éric and him started their company to materialize their security vision and enable companies to efficiently safeguard their assets. As the company's Chief Executive Officer, he now focuses on providing the IT security market with high-end security solutions.
Eric Leblond
At first a mathematician specialized in applied mathematics, Éric Leblond soon shifted to IT security consulting and software development. Since 2004, Éric is a major contributor to Netfilter, the Linux packet filtering framework. He regularly gives lectures about network protection and contributes articles to specialized magazines. After founding EdenWall Technologies with Vincent Deffontaines, he became the company's Chief Technology Officer. He soon brought a paradigm shift in firewalling technologies with EdenWall, the first range of firewalling appliances based on the NuFW Identity-Based Firewalling solution.
