EdenWall Technologies was founded as INL in 2004 by Vincent Deffontaines and Éric Leblond, the two creators of the breakthrough NuFW security component. The company is dedicated to providing best of class Identity-Based Firewalling solutions through its EdenWall range of appliances.
With EdenOS 4.0, EdenWall Technologies offers much more than a simple product and introduces a paradigm shift in firewalling. 1.0 firewalls only filtered packets. 2.O, stateful firewalls kept track of the state of network connections. 3.0 firewalls filtered web applications. Today, with identity-based and applications-based filtering, EdenWall Technologies gives birth to 4.0 firewalling.
In February 2009, EdenWall Technologies raised €2M to fund growth and launch its new product line.
To extend its range of security solutions, EdenWall Technologies acquired in September 2009 PreludeIDS Technologies, a Security Information Management System publisher.
In September 2009, to reflect its new activity, from an award-winning software engineering company to a security solutions publisher, INL changed its name to EdenWall Technologies.
